Trustees will act as the strategic decision-making body for the trust. Each Trustee fulfils three roles:
Director – because the Trust will be a company;
Trustee – because the Trust will be a charity; and
Governor – because the Trust will be responsible for running the schools.

The three core responsibilities of trustees are to:

• Ensure strategic direction, vision and ethos.  

• Hold executive leaders to account. 

• Oversee financial performance and ensuring money is well spent.
