Helen Jones

Helen worked as an Executive Director in Local Government and statutory Director of Adult Social Care in two Local Authorities. She has headed up a Youth Offending Team, been Caldicot Guardian, and led for her professional association on adult safeguarding nationally. Helen is also a qualified social worker.

More importantly, Helen is proud to be the person Mica (Trustee) calls Mum and was also mum for 13 years to Lilya who was autistic and whose legacy following her death from cancer continues to inspire Helen and Mica (not least in their pursuit of better school experiences for other neurodivergent children who are often disabled by the school environment and experience). Together with Clare Saffin (Trustee), Helen set up a group for parents and carers of neurodivergent children.
