Debra's Story
With over thirty-five years’ experience in education, Debra trained as a secondary school teacher and has experience of teaching in special schools, further and higher education in the UK and Australia. Debra currently teaches post-graduate students in special and inclusive education and carries out research and writing with a focus on autism and student voice.

Debra previously worked for Autism Spectrum Australia in education development and research, including the establishment of new schools. Debra believes in person centred, evidence informed education that includes the voices of all stakeholders.
​
Debra brings to the Trust expertise in education, research, development, team building, strategic planning, and project management.
